Bali 2008 1st Asian Beach Games

Bali is the host city for the Asian Beach GAmes 2008 which will see 45 countries and over 10,000 athletes, officials, media and volunteers as well as over 20,000 spectators flocking to the "Island of Gods".

Its indeed a huge honour for Indonesia to be chosen as the first venue for this historic international sporting event and the country is ready to show the world its true hospitality and diverse cultures.

The Asian Beach Games is a multi sport event held every two years for athletes representing countries from all across Asia. 13 beach sports will be competed in this first time event sanctioned by the Olympic Council fo Asia (OCA) and The National Olympic Committee of Indonesia (KONI).
